This year Helen will be sharing the studio of ceramicist Kate Allsop in Area 01 Wells-next-the-Sea, New Farm Barn, New Farm, Warham Road, NR23 1NE
We hope to see you there as we bring together a wonderful display of paintings and ceramics. It will be the launch of a brand new collection from Helen of over twenty new paintings, and new work from Kate. In the series of works Helen explores her joy of walking and the sense of wild freedom that she experiences connecting to the landscape but most importantly the expanse of sky and myriad cloud patterns. Helen says of the work that she attempted to bring in the energy and qualities of being present, taking within the breath of aliveness in the moment. Many times she would find herself laying on the ground taking in the uplifting skies as red kites curiously circled above her, or walked across the marshes to find tranquil views of the tides.
